Heroes to Hives
A story I wrote for the UCM Alumni Foundation magazine. The story follows a veteran beekeeping program that utilizes on-campus resources. It was a fun story reaching out and collaborating with everyone about a subject matter that is important to a lot of people. The subject matter also allowed me to get personal stories from all sorts of people of diverse backgrounds.
Amazon Music and the Nitty-Gritty of Popular music streaming services
An example of one of the weekly articles I wrote during my position as Director of Business and Communications at Elegant but Raw. These articles ranged from artists' summaries to industry news. This particular article covered pricing changes regarding the Amazon company's flagship music service. I expanded that news to develop a feature story about some of the "politics" around music streaming. This article also features infographics created by me.

This work was published online through the UCM News Bureau, on the UCM news page, and was sent out to various media outlets.
